Taxonomy Identification: Family Pieridae, first named by Röber in 1891
Colour: Topside (recto) forewings are black with orange barred patch, with a lower ridge of yellow. Recto hindwing are white. The underside (verso) wings are pale yellow with various lighter reddish brown markings.
Size: Wingspan 45-55mm
Comments & Applications: A seldom offered butterfly from Timor Island. A nice collectors species also perfect for natural history framing, art and craft.
