Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae > Heliconiinae, First named by Felder in 1862
Colour: Topside (recto) wings are black with yellow and orange patches on the forewings, while the hind-wings have orange stripes and a margin of tiny white spots. The underside (verso) is similar but paler.
