Taxonomy Identification: Family Ithomiidae, first named by Guérin-Méneville in 1844
Colour: The wings are orange brown with black and yellow patches. Hindwings more defined with black zig-zag lines and marginal row of white spots.
Size: Wingspan 70-80mm
Comments & Applications: A neotropical species, seldom offered for sale. A butterfly for the serious connoisseur, also useful in high end applications where the customer is looking for something different from the norm.
