Taxonomy Identification: Family Satyrinae, First named by Boisduval, in 1832.
Colour: Male topside (recto) brown with thick white bar on forewing. Female brown with similar bar but orange in colour. The (verso) undersides of both sexes is a mix of browns, leaf-like with small eye marking in orange, black and white.
Size: Wingspan 70-80mm
