Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, First named by Salvin in 1869.

Colour: Topside (recto) Wings are black dark blue with a lighter blue. The underside (verso) is a mixture of dark browns like a leaf for camouflage.

Size: Wingspan 70-80mm
