Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, First named by Westwood 1850.
Colour: Topside (recto) wings are dark blue with pale blue. The underside (verso) is a mixture of browns to imitate a leaf for protection, can be very variable. Please see the pictures.
Size: Wingspan 50-60mm
