Taxonomy Identification: Family, Papilionidae, First named by Lucas in 1852
Colour: The base colour of the topside (recto) forewing is black with a whiteish patch rising diagonally toward the forewing apex, fading as it ascends. On the hind-wing is a row of blush pink dashes set against a black background. The underside (verso) is similar but paler and the forewing lacks the white bar.
Size: Wingspan 65-80mm
