Taxonomy Identification: Family, Papilionidae, First named by Hewitson in 1852
Colour: The base colour of the topside (recto) forewing is blackish blue with yellow bar and brown patch at the apex of the wing. The hindwing is dark blackish blue. The underside (verso) forewing is similar but paler with additional red and white patterns.
Size: Wingspan 68-85mm
