Colour: Overall colour is brown with cream.
Size: Length measuring from the tip of the head/jaw to the end of the abdomen but excluding the legs and antenna: 15-30mm

Adult are active from late June to early September, can be found sitting on the fresh logs, felled or uprooted trees. an be found through out Europe, as well as in Kazakhstan, Mongolia, North Korea and South Korea. A collectable species also the ideal subject for artwork, photography, framing, interior design, film, entertainment or educational purposes
