Taxonomy Identification: Family Morphini, First named by Rothschild in 1916
Colour: The topside (recto) of this butterfly is coloured a shimmering iridescent pale blue. In the male the blue is more complete, whereas the female is darker purple-blue with additional brown bars. The underside (verso) is pale silvery-white with darker lines and eye-spots, darker in the female.
Size: Wingspan 80-95 mm
