Description
Description: We are pleased to offer a budget range of Natural History specimens which are useful for applications where perfection is not required. Our clearance specimens are graded as A2 (poor) and will have obviously damage such as chipped wings, missing antenna/legs, smudges, and other defects.
Nevertheless these are still useable specimens and ideal for use with young children as an introduction to entomology also useful in educational settings, schools, taxonomy and microscopy studies, dissection and other taxidermy uses.
Size: The insect wingspan or length of specimens will vary considerably between collections from 30-140mm. Please look carefully at the collection image for an idea of sizes.
Format: Our natural history specimens are SET and prepared with spread wings, mounted on a single pin and supplied in a polystyrene box. Specimens can be easily moved lifting with the pin.
