Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae. Named by Pinratana & Eliot in 1996
Colour: Colouration topside (recto) orange-brown markings. The underside (verso) hind-wings are a mixture of browns with pale orange.
Size: Wingspan 30-40mm
Comments & Applications: A small neptis butterfly from the oriental region. Commonly called the common lascar butterfly. Not often offered for sale, a collectable connoisseur species.
