Taxonomy Identification: Family, Nymphalidae, First named by Felder in 1859
Colour: Topside (recto) wings on the male are coloured a dark brownish black, with bright sky-blue diagonal bands across each wing. The underside (verso) wings are olive green with white and brown lines and patches.
Size: Wingspan 65-75mm
