Taxonomy Identification: Family Lucanidae, first named by Mollenkamp in 1904

Colour: Jaws, head, prothorax, and elytra black. Legs black with reddish brown patch on first leg segment.

Size: Length of beetle measuring from tip of jaw to the end of abdomen is 60+mm (excludes legs and antenna).
