Taxonomy Identification: Family Hemiptera. First identified by Guérin-Méneville in 1831.
Colour: Black with bright orange bar.
Size: length from tip of head to end of abdomen 28-32mm – wings closed
Comments & Applications: A beautiful coloured Stink bug – also known as Shield bugs due to the shape of the elytra. Seldom offered for sale, hard to obtain. Perfect for use in arts, craft, frames and domes. Useful in education, science also film and media applications.
Format: Supplied papered, unmounted on card (not glued) with wings spread. Requires relaxing and setting.
