Description
Taxonomy Identification: Family Odonota, Burmeister in 1839

Comments & Applications: A very pretty species, seldom offered for sale named after its bright colours: the crimson dropwing. Dragonflies are a popular choice among the art and craft industry, photography, framing, interior design, film, entertainment and educational purposes
Important note before purchase: Dragonflies are very fragile insects. During the drying process legs, head and abdomens become very brittle. Body parts are prone to separate especially during the rehydration process. This is a common issue which necessitates various degrees of repair. We recommend PVA glue for repair. In some cases, a nylon rod is pushed through the thorax down into the abdomen to help secure the insect.
Format: Supplied Unmounted, papered, requires relaxing and setting
