Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, first named by van Someren in 1975

Colour: (Topside) Black with reddish brown patch on hindwing and prominent white bar on forewing.  The underside of the wings are dark brown with intricate fine lines and small marginal eye markings.

Size: Wingspan 60-75mm
