Taxonomy Identification: Family Papilionidae, First named by Wallace in 1835
Colour: Topside (recto) black with cream-white patches on hindwing. The (verso) undersides is similar but with extra red and blue marginal markings.
Size: Wingspan 90-110mm
Comments & Applications: A large and hard to obtain swallowtail species. One for the collector also useful in the framing, domes, artwork, photography, interior design and film industry
