Colour: Topside (recto) black with large with large cream white patch on hindwing. Underside (verso) black with eye catching red, white and blue markings on hind wings.

Size: Wingspan 100-120mm

Comments & Applications: A beautiful and impressive swallowtail butterfly. Common name: Canopus Swallowtail. Coloration is highly variable and the species is split into numerous sub-species.
