Colour: Highly variable colours from green through to yellow and orange
Size: Body length excluding legs and antenna, Female 90-100mm.
Note: The flightless female has large leathery forewings (tegmina) that lie edge to edge on the abdomen and resemble, in their vein pattern, the midrib and veins in a leaf.
