Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, First named by Hewitson in 1859.
Colour: Topside (recto) Forewings are various colours of brown. The hindwings are larger and are orangey brown. The underside (verso) is a mixture of browns with that form an amazing pattern.
Size: Wingspan 50-60mm
