Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, First named by Godman & Salvin in 1868.
Colour: Topside (recto) wings black with thick iridescent blue bar. The underside (verso) is pale greyish-brown with cream wgite patches and fine black lines and dashes.
Size: Wingspan 65-80mm
