Taxonomy Identification: Family Sphingidae. First named by Butler in 1882
Colour: The forewings and hind-wings are very pale olive brown with narrow dark transverse lines, a prominent dark dot at the base and one near the tornus.
Size: Wingspan 60-70mm
Comments & Applications: A common but attractive olive brown coloured moth. Distributed across sub-saharan African. Ideal for framers, photography and the art and design industry.
