Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, First named by Linnaeus in 1758.
Colour: Topside (recto) dark brown almost black butterfly with concave forewings decorated with creamy white and blue dots. Hind-wings have double tails with a mustard yellow spot.
Size: Wingspan 80-90mm
