Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, First named by Godart in 1824.
Colour: Topside (recto) wings are black with white vertical bar edged in blue. Underside (verso) is a white with olive-brown band. Hind-wing verso edged in red lunules and pale blue marginal line.
Size: Wingspan 65-70mm
