Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, Fruhstorfer, 1905 – Formerly omphale octavia.
Colour: Topside (recto) vivid blue internal patch with darker sheen, outer edge black. The underside (verso) is pale greyish-brown with intricate black pencil-line patterns, mimicking a leaf when closed.
Size: Wingspan 70-80mm
