Taxonomy Identification: Family Pieridae, First named by Hübner in 1816
Colour: Topside (recto) wings are black with white patches and white spots at the wing apex. The underside (verso) wings are black with a yellow hindwing patch and two distinct central red dashes. The black forewings are peppered with white dots and larger white patches.
Size: Wingspan 60-75mm
