Taxonomy Identification: Family Pieridae, First named by Doubleday in 1842
Colour: The wing colours are seasonally variable. Wet season forms are darker, dry season forms more white. Overall colouration of the topside (recto) male is white with black wing tips, underside (verso) forewings white and black, hind-wings verso yellow and white. Female recto blackish grey with lighter grey/white markings, verso forewing black with greyish markings, hindwing verso black and yellow.
Size: Wingspan 70-85mm
