Description

Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, first named by Druce in 1782

Colour: (Topside) The base colour of the wings is pearly-silver with a greenish white  sheen. The forewings are hooked with black tips. All wings have red and black like eyespots. The underside of the wings has a greenish white base colour, with eyelike markings. Very beautiful butterfly.

Size: Wingspan 75-85mm
