Taxonomy Identification: Family Fulgoridae, First named by Satô & Nagai in 1994
Colour: Forewing has three distinct bars, dark green merging into a mustard yellow terminating in a darker outer edge. Dark green bar has yellowish splashes/spots. Hindwings are black with blue centre towards abdomen.
Size: Wingspan 60-70 mm
Comments & Applications: A relatively recent discovery from Kalimantan in Indonesia. This lantern fly’s colours make it especially popular among the art and craft industry, photography, framing, interior design, film, entertainment and educational purposes
