Taxonomy Identification: Family Arachnidae. First named by Walckenaer in 1837
Colour: Dark brown spider with darker almost black abdomen.
Size: Body length 50-60mm. Leg span width 100-120+mm. Specimens are supplied on a card base (not glued).
