Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, Latreille 1813
Colour: Topside (recto) wings black in the inner portion, followed by a bold white transverse stripe continuing across both wings with the outer portion of the forewings rusty orange. The underside (verso) similar but paler with a deep reddish-brown line.
Size: Wingspan 70-80mm
