Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, first named by Fabricius in 1781

Colour: (Topside)The basic color of the wings is red orange in males, brown in females. The upperside (recto) of the forewings show a black apex with three white spots. The underside (recto) of hindwings has brown and tan wavy markings.

Size: Wingspan 75-90mm
