Taxonomy Identification: Family Arachnidae. First named by Chamberlin in 1917

Colour: Pale sandy coloured spider with faint chevron marking on legs.

Size: Leg span width 100-130+mm. Specimens are supplied on a card base (not glued).

Comments & Applications:  Huge tarantula spider, commonly called the Brown Birdeater; always a show stopper these impressive beasties make the perfect subject for the arts and design industry, photography, horror film, halloween, entertainment and educational purposes.
