Description

Taxonomy Identification: Family Arachnidae. First named by Von Wirth in 1991.

Colour: Chocolate brown spider with faint pale marking on legs.

Size: Leg span width 160+mm. Specimens are supplied on a card base (not glued).

Comments & Applications:  Large sized tarantula spiders, commonly known as the Chinese Bird Spider. The females are one of the largest asian spiders found. Can be found in China and Vietnam. These are  always a show stopper, these impressive beasties make the perfect subject for the arts and design industry, photography, horror film, halloween, entertainment and educational purposes.

Format: Supplied Unmounted, papered, with legs spread, requires relaxing and setting.

NOTE: To aid the relaxing process inject white vinegar into thorax and legs
