Stink Bug Hemiptera (spread wings) Java (TP02)

Description

Taxonomy Identification: Family Hemiptera. Unidentified species.

Colour: Forewings are chocolate brown while hind-wings are blackish brown. The head and thorax are dark brown while the body is coloured a reddish orange. Highly variable between specimens.

Size: Wingspan 38-40 mm – length from tip of head to end of abdomen 22-25mm

Comments & Applications:  A very unusual and collectable insect, seldom offered for sale. Perfect for use in arts, craft, frames and domes. Useful in education, science also film and media applications.

Format: Supplied papered, unmounted on card (not glued) with wings spread. Requires relaxing and setting.
