Taxonomy Identification: Family Cetoniidae, first named by Nagai in 1998
Colour: Horn’s reddish copper. Head a prothorax metallic green. Elytra coloured bronze. Legs metallic bronze-green.
Size: Length of beetle measuring from tip of jaw to the end of abdomen is 25-30+mm (excludes legs and antenna). The size of the Jaws varies according to length.
Comments & Applications: A scarce collectable beetle, one for the serious connoisseur. A relatively recent discovery. Also useful in creating unique one off taxidermy wall hangings, frames and domes.
Format: Male. Unmounted, requires relaxing and setting
