Taxonomy Identification: Family Sphingidae. First named by Bugnion in 1839
Colour: The topside (recto) forewings are olive brown with faints lateral lines. Hindwings are black edged in pale brown. Underside wings (verso) are a reddish orange with black spots.
Size: Wingspan 90-110mm
