Taxonomy Identification: Family Noctuidae. Unidentified species

Colour: The topside (recto) forewings are black white and blue patterns.  Underside wings (verso) are black with iridescent blue.

Size: Wingspan 35-45mm

Comments & Applications: This is a rare moth from Ambon, not identified but nonetheless collectable. Also useful in the insect trade for its colouration and shape, perfect for design applications, entomology, craft, taxidermy
