Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, First named by Capronnier in 1886
Colour: Topside (recto) forewings are black with streaks of reddish-orange and short white bars. White spots at wing margins. Underside similar but paler.
Size: Wingspan 65-75mm
