Taxonomy Identification: Family Pieridae, first named by Linnaeus in 1763, this sub-species from south east Sulawesi located on the island of Buton was first named by Wallace in 1863.

Colour: Wings white with vivid orange wing tips, paler in the female.

Size: Wingspan 65-75mm
