Taxonomy Identification: Family Hemiptera. First identified by White in 1845

Colour: Wings are cream white with black spots. Hindwing is tipped in black with white bar and red patch.

Size: Wingspan 24-28 mm – length from tip of head to end of abdomen 25mm

Comments & Applications:  A very unusual and collectable insect, seldom offered for sale, with lovely red wings and spotted colouration. Perfect for use in arts, craft, frames and domes. Useful in education, science also film and media applications.

Format: Supplied Papered, unmounted, in glassine paper, wings closed. Requires relaxing and setting.
