Description

Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, First named by Cramer in 1775.

Colour: Can come in three different colours, but this one is golden brown. Topside (recto) Wings are black with golden brown and white. The underside (verso) is a mixture of sandy browns white and a little black.

Size: Wingspan 65-75mm

Comments & Applications: This butterfly is  known as the Clipper. It is found in southeast Asia. Can be used in  framing, domes, artwork, photography, interior design and film. Check out our range of neotropical butterflies.
