Taxonomy Identification: Family Hemiptera, fulgoridae. First identified by Signoret in 1860
Colour: Forewings are pale brown semi-transparent covered in fine black speckles. Hindwings dark blue black.
Size: Wingspan 90-105 mm
Comments & Applications: A very unusual and collectable lantern bug, seldom offered for sale. Perfect for use in arts, craft, frames and domes. Useful in education, science also film and media applications.
Format: Supplied Papered, unmounted, in glassine paper, wings closed. Requires relaxing and setting.
