Description

Taxonomy Identification: Family Hymenoptera, unidentified Eumenes species.

Colour: The head and thorax of this wasp is reddish brown . The abdomen is black.

Size: Body length 30-33mm, Wingspan 40-44mm

Comments & Applications:  A medium sized tropical parasitic wasp. This incredible creature has an elongated body and bulbous spiked abdomen. A nice addition to any entomological reference collection. Also useful for educational purposes, fine art, and macro photography.
