Comments & Applications: The Gypsy moth has an interesting and chequered History in England. Early in the 19th century this moth was common in East Anglia, and the southern fenlands of England. By the 20th century this species became extinct but since 1995 has reappeared becoming resident in small numbers in parts of London. Initially reappearance of the moth drew attempts by DEFRA to eradicate this species, believing the moth’s larvae to be a potential pest. However it now appears resident in small colonies across the south east of England.
Perfect if you are starting your own British Moth reference collection. Also useful in education, film, media, artistry and interior design, frames and domes.
Format: Choose either SET, wings spread, mounted on a pin, cabinet ready Or Papered/unmounted requires relaxing and setting
