Taxonomy Identification: Family Noctuidae. First named by Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775.
Colour: Extremely variable colouration. Powdery grey forewings with a distinctly round whitish orbicular stigma with a darker centre. Hind-wings white with darker outer edge.
Size: Wingspan 40-45 mm
