Taxonomy Identification: Family Noctuidae. First named by Haworth in 1809

Colour: Forewing yellow with brown centre bar and dark outer edge. Hind wings ivory with yellowish edge.

Size: Wingspan 32-36 mm

Comments & Applications:  Moderately common in England and Wales, scarce or absent further north.
