Taxonomy Identification: Family Noctuidae > Catocala. First named by Boisduval in 1829
Colour: Forewing brown with pale whiteish markings. Hind-wing yellow with thick black border.
Size: Wingspan 24-28mm
Comments & Applications: A beautiful yellow underwing moth. Inhabiting Eastern Europe mostly at higher altitudes. Rarely offered for sale, one for the collector.
