Taxonomy Identification: Family Erebidae. First named by Linnaeus in 1758
Colour: Variable colouration, forewings yellow edged in pink line, single blackish-brown spot on forewing, buff hindwing with black spot edged in broad black edge and pink lines. Males more brightly coloured.
Size: Wingspan 35-50 mm
